A solid value red from France! The Chardonnay from this producer is my house budget white, and this wouldn't be a bad house budget red. Round, fruity, dry, good with food; it ticks all the boxes for a cheap bottle. Bouquet of strawberry jam & ripe cherry, with a hint of smokey peat. Dark berries, spice and earth on the tongue.
