A rich and complex Pinot Blanc from Schützen, Austria. The wine shows layers of lemon zest, ripe bosc pear, peaches, and golden delicious apples. With the fruit is an intriguing nuttiness; namely crushed walnuts and chestnuts; a distinct salinity and crushed gravel minerality. The wine is dry, medium-bodied, with a fresh and bright finish.
Pair with grilled pork chops, a hearty pasta (such as Spätzle), or with a fried Austrian favourite: Wiener Schnitzel.
