Medium body, bright tannins, earthy, spicy, licorice, coffee, blackberry, cassis, dark cherry, vanilla. Berry, plum, cola and mineral aromas amount to an inviting whole. A solid yet racy palate delivers punches and jabs of herbal blackberry, plum and spice flavors. On the finish, this blend of Syrah, Carmenère, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is generous with oak, coffee and herbal fruit flavors. Drink through 2022.
A flush palate is lush but sort of chunky and broad despite screechy acidity. Black fruit flavors are chocolaty, while this blend of Syrah, Carmenère, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon loses some steam and appeal on an unfocused finish.
