Lanson Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Extra Age

Wine Enthusiast 93 Points: Aged for at least five years in the Lanson cellars before disgorgement, this is a blend of Grand Cru wines from the Côte des Blancs. It has signs of maturity in the hints of toast and almonds while showing a crisp, tightly mineral texture. It’s a great food wine, very fresh with good depth of flavor. The acidity at the end is bright and refreshing.

The Blanc de Blancs, made from three excellent vintages, has fresh aromas of white flowers, hawthorn and lime blossom, together with gentle pear and white peach flavors. There's a delicate hint of brioche, too. Beautifully done.
