This Chardonnay highlights the cool climate of the Russian River Valley, with aromas of candied ginger, lemon rind, orange blossom and lightly sweetened oak. Rich, lemon cream coats the palate with lingering toastiness, leading to a harmonious finish. Partial fermentation in stainless steel tanks prior to this wine’s barrel aging allows for the wine to maintain crisp chardonnay fruit flavors while developing the richness that sur lees aging provides.
