IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
Limpid and brilliant wine with pale gold coloring. Somewhat reserved nose at first but with light notes of soft spice and fine, fresh, chalky minerality. On aeration, the floral aspect of Fourchaume is more noticeable with good aromatic persistence. Beautifully full and suave in the mouth with great density and very long on the palate. Still young at present but holding great promise for the future.
The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume is more put together, unfurling with notes of lemon oil, mandarin and iodine. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, tangy and textural, with an attractive sense of completeness and a saline finish.
