• Premium single malt gin produced by The Ki One Distillery in Namyangju, South Korea • Korea’s first gin made entirely from malted barley • 11 botanicals include juniper, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, lemon & orange peel, pine needle, lavender, chopi (Korean sansho peppercorn), baby ginseng, and perilla leaf • Triple distilled in copper pot stills; botanicals are macerated in twice-distilled single malt spirit for 24 hours before the third and final run through a 1,000-liter copper pot still • A vibrant, inviting nose of lime oil, green cardamom, lemongrass, and genever-esque malt wine; the palate shows herbaceous shiso, lavender, tangerine, and pine sap; cooling mint, cinnamon, and piquant sansho peppercorn keep things lively through the finish • Non-chill filtered; 47% ABV Jung One [jung•waan], which appropriately translates to garden in Korean, is a powerful showcase of the flavors that define Korean food and terroir. Many of the botanicals are locally and sustainably sourced, and the pine needles are hand foraged from trees surrounding the distillery.
