Silky and vibrant, with prominent mineral details and lively, well-integrated acidity.
We only grow Riesling on 1.9 hectares of steep slopes and produce around 20,000 bottles of wine every year. The peculiarity of the taste lies not only in the slate weathering of the soil, but also in the location in the Ürziger Würzgarten. The historic slate house was purchased by the great-grandfather in 1867. There are also some old ungrafted vines on the posts. The wines are mainly aged in wooden barrels. The specialty of the house are the noble sweet Auslese
