If you like Chardonnay with true expression of fruit then this is one to love! This wine does not hide behind any oak. It’s a crisp wine that tastes of the succulence and freshness of the grape. The grapes for this wine are from selected vineyards in Marlborough and Hawke’s Bay on the East Coast of New Zealand. These Chardonnay grapes were selected to create an approachable, and fruit-forward, unoaked-style Chardonnay.
Ripe tropical fruits--pineapple and ripe melon--with hints of butterscotch. An approachable and full-bodied Chardonnay that shows great length and persistence. Ripe stonefruit, butterscotch, and citrus characters show through well, in a style uncluttered by oak.
