Juwel-Weine Grauburgunder 2019 2019 |
The light-footed Pinot Gris from Weingut Juwel shines in the glass with a brilliant light yellow colour. In the glass, this white wine from Weingut Juwel offers aromas of Gallia melon, nectarines, plums, vineyard peaches and papayas, complemented by garrigue, green peppers and juniper. The Juwel Pinot Gris winery inspires with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with just 7.5 grams of residual sugar. As one would naturally expect from a wine in the higher entry-level price range, this German wine is of course enchanting despite its dryness and the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar.
On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky texture. Due to its fruity acidity, the Pinot Gris is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region inspires with its extraordinary length. Once again there are hints of pineapple and guava. Mineral notes from the soil, which is dominated by loess soil and limestone, join in the aftertaste.
