Classic pedigreed white Burgundy here. Intense aromas of fresh apple, pear, and quince are joined by crunchy mineral notes, wintergreen, white flower and fresh mushroom. The oak augments all these aromas and boosts the nose, rather than dominating it.
Although not an amazing vintage, the good '11s are just entering into their more savory middle age and this is an awesome example.
