A complex, spicy wine from a small vineyard plot on a steep terraced slope on the celebrated Cote Blonde - renowned for producing wines with more finesse and elegance than the more muscular neighbouring Cote Brune, due to the lighter sandy-limestone soils. Moreish dark fruits, violets and liquorice are balanced by a fresh palate with lovely minerality.
Completely classic (and amazing!) but also natural wine with peppery berry fruit flavors, smokey and meaty aromas, medium tannins, bright acidity and a long finish.
