The 2021 Morgon Côte du Py is excellent, offering up aromas of cherries, plums and berries mingled with notions of peony, burning embers and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's seamless and succulent, with melting tannins, lively acids and a long, precise finish.

After the richer, more powerful 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages, the 2021 marks a return to a more classically proportioned style
