The best barrels of Zipsin are put aside for extra ageing and released several years later. It is an opulent, ripe wine, packed with red-berry fruit and almost painfully intense. The tannins are round and chocolatey, and there is a lovely freshness gaining in momentum as the wine glides to a persistent dark salty finish.
Deep, pure, intense, spicy, generous and matured but refined and elegant bouquet of dark fruit, red cherries, nougat and freshly milled Madagascar pepper.
