Maison Louis Jadot produces a deeply colored powerful, fullbodied Nuits-Saint-Georges of intense color. It develops ripe, robust fruit flavors and nuances of oak in the bouquet. It will accompany red wine sauces, marinated or roasted game, medium tasting cheeses nicely.
This is rich and smoky, with a core of black cherry, black currant and spice flavors. There is a firm backbone, and a mineral element emerges on the savory finish. This wine is a good representation of this appellation. It is structured with tight, dry tannins as well as juicy red fruits that shine through in this vintage. Give this wine more time.
Tasting Note. Generous red berry and dark stone fruit flavors andaromas mark this robust, masculine Pinot Noir, and are offset by earth and spice notes in a vigorous, direct tannic structure.
