DESCRIPTION

Inky ruby. Smoke-accented black and blue fruit, licorice and woodsmoke aromas carry a spicy cracked pepper overtone. Palate-coating cherry, black currant, mocha and spice cake flavors are lifted and firmed by a spine of juicy acidity. Gains flesh and weight with air and finishes subtly sweet and long, displaying persistent cherry and licorice notes and dusty, firming tannins.

Intriguing, deep and dark on the nose, this bottling offers aromas of root beer, black-cherry sauce and vanilla. Framed by upright yet polished tannins on the palate, fresh flavors of blackberry and blueberry are lifted by vanilla spice. This is an easy-to-like, yet heavy-duty, wine.
