In the glass it has a bright and brilliant ruby red color. The range of aromas that spread to the nose highlights notes of marasca cherry and violet, alternating with spicy and vanilla hints. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied, balanced and velvety. It closes with a persistent finish characterized by a light olfactory aftertaste of licorice and tar.
It is a wine with an excellent gastronomic vocation; to be drunk throughout the meal, it pairs well with both first and second courses. Perfect with spit-roasted lamb.
