Imagery Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 |
California State Fair: 91 Points
'Editors Choice' - Wine Enthusiast
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a soft, smooth wine with well-integrated oak. Flavors of dark fruit, black cherry, clove, and cinnamon are met with cola and vanilla toast in the mid-palate. This opulent wine is enhanced with spice, clove and pepper notes from the Petite Sirah.

Superb Wine!
I am a Napa Valley Wine drinker and this wine is just so deep and rich. It is so full of favor that I bought 3 cases to gift. I have been drinking the 2016 as well as the 2015. I just bought the 2017 and it doesn't disappoint. The complexity of the flavors is astounding.
Ordered vintage 2017, received vin 2016
Although I ordered 6 bottles of Imagery Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, what Wine Chateau shipped to me was 6 bottles of Imagery Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (see picture below). The vintage year of a wine makes a great difference. After trying half a bottle of the vintage 2016 with an Omaha Steaks Private Reserve 10 oz. Filet, I would rate the wine as 2 stars out of 5 stars with a fair price in a single digit, not the nearly $20 I was charged for the (undelivered) 2017 vintage. The best thing I can say about the 2016 vintage is that it is drinkable and does not hurt. Such are the dangers of ordering on the internet when employees do not understand what to put in a mailing carton. image1.jpeg image2.jpeg Jon Wexler Sent from my iPad
Fruit forward classic Napa Cab
This is a great fruit forward Napa Cab with a screw top. Its bursting with flavor. It’s missing a complex finish so it doesn’t compete with the 50+ dollar ones. It has a wonderful intense grape flavor, similar to educated guess, and there are no worries about getting a corked bottle. Its a really good value. The 5 star rating takes into account its price. There are no funny smells or unusual flavors.
Imagery cab
Decent wine- not as good as I was expecting from Benziger.
