The basis for the balanced Hohenmorgen GC Riesling from Germany are grapes from the Riesling variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils made of limestone, sandstone and weathered rock. Without question, the Hohenmorgen GC Riesling is also determined by the climate and wine-growing style of Deidesheim.
This German wine can be described as an Old World wine in the truest sense of the word, which presents itself as extraordinarily complex. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After completion of the fermentation, the Hohenmorgen GC Riesling can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
