Mountain grown Pinot Gris offers another look at this multi-faceted wine with aromas and flavors of grapefruit joined by elegant aromas of citrus blossom, spring meadow flowers and hints of spice. Round and crisp, the dominant flavors are grapefruit and lychee, with white pepper and influences of honeysuckle. Grapes are whole cluster pressed, fermented in neutral oak barrels and not allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation.
This refreshing wine is a staple throughout the spring and summer season, and graces the holiday table at Thanksgiving with class. White bean dip with bacon, chives and basil-infused olive oil; fresh tomato and mozzarella salad; goat cheese, nectarine, arugula and pine nut salad.
