Located just north of Half Moon Bay near San Francisco, Mavericks is one of the most respected big wave surf areas in the mainland U.S.. Some of the most exceptional surfers in the world have ridden the waves there and have drawn thousands to watch them surf the 25-foot giants. The intensity and greatness of this beautiful location is what inspired this wine-a smooth, full-bodied Merlot with delicious chocolate and cherry flavors. It pairs well with gourmet pizza, grilled burgers, pulled pork sliders or beef chili.

Full-bodied and smooth, this is a luscious Merlot with aromas of dark fruits that are followed by rich flavors of clocolates and cherries. As Train lead singer Pat Monahan mentions in their hit song "Save Me, San Francisco" this is a "Hella Fine" Merlot.
