Hecht & Bannier Bandol Rose 2017 |
A lovely, medium-bodied southern French rose with aromas of small field strawberries and dried herbs. Pair with fresh seafood.
Rosé food pairings: strawberry spinach salad, roast turkey, veal scaloppini.
The Hecht Bannier Bandol is a rosé for fall and winter, based on nearly 60% of Mourvedre, the wine is complex, with more structure than a traditional rosé in Provence. This is a wine of great, even exquisite, finesse which, unlike many rose wines, will age beautifully in bottle. Young, the wine offers the aroma and flavor of blood orange and dried apricot. With bottle age, after five years, the wine will gain in richness, power and depth.
