Harken Chardonnay Barrel Fermented 2018

A rich Chardonnay in the classic Californian style. Following a lovely nose of mellow buttery stonefruit the mouthfeel is big, velvety and creamy, with gentle toffee and poached fruit notes on the effortlessly ripe and flowing palate. Not overbearing, too 'oaky' or heavy, instead this is generous and mouthfilling in a very silky, harmonious way.

Harken Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented to create a rich Chardonnay exhibiting a classic profile of tropical fruit and Bosc pear alongside warm oak aromatics. The luscious palate suggests crème brulée and buttered toast, and finishes with fresh acidity.
