This stunning Napa Valley classic defies nature: soft yet strong, bold yet inviting, big and tannic yet oh-so approachable! From its strikingly deep red color through to the finish, this wine captivates you. Beginning with aromas of bold raspberry, leather, and rich cocoa this wine can't help but intrigue the senses. On the palate, the charm continues and we find many of those notes again joined by a deep dark black cherry. The finish is rich and deep, lingering every so slightly, seducing you into taking another sip.
The rich, spicy nose of bakers' chocolate and black cherry complements the brooding and spice-filled black licorice, black cherry, plum and cranberry on the palate. The addition of 10% Cabernet Franc enhances the complexity of the wine, as well as adding to our trademark robust and silky mid-palate.
