DESCRIPTION

Brilliant violet. Vivid, mineral-accented red/blue fruit, succulent herb and floral pastille scents, along with a hint of smoky minerality. Juicy and precise on the palate, offering bitter cherry, boysenberry and violet pastille flavors and a musky touch of licorice. The mineral note recurs on a very long, taut finish shaped by silky, well-integrated tannins.

The 2017 Côte de Brouilly exhibits aromas of cassis, plums and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, succulent palate that's nicely concentrated, with chalky tannins, tangy acids and good depth at the core. It's very promising.
