2019 Spiegel opens with an intense aromatic and initially more stony precise and coolish bouquet of ripe tropical fruits but also crystalline or some chalky nuances of crushed stones.
Silky and charmingly round on the palate this is a fine elegant and full-bodied Velltiner that is more Baroque and juicy compared to the Stein but reveals a fine tannin structure intermingled with crystalline salinity and fine tannin grip. 13% alcohol.
