• Variety: Grüner Veltliner • Region: Wachau • Vineyard: Ried Kreutles • Soil Type: Loess with loam • Fermentation & Élevage: Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel then élevage in steel with a small amount of neutral Austrian oak\n\nRied Kreutles:\nThe easternmost of the two vineyards at the foot of the Loibenberg hill, this vineyard has been in the Alzinger family for decades and was previously blended into the village level Grüner Veltliner. Made up of loess, the soils at the top of the vineyard are also dotted with gneiss and the bottom with gravel.
