The 2020 Grüner Veltliner Hefeabzug from the Nikolaihof winery balances the delicate yeast notes of six months of barrel ageing with clear-as-a-bell fruit of ripe stone fruit.
Apples and green hard pears are underpinned by herbal notes of sage and burnet. The unadorned nose suggests a joyful and varietal-typical Veltliner pleasure with an uncomplicated nature without losing any of its seriousness.
