In the glass the wine shows a deep ruby color with a light garnet rim. An intense nose with with aromas of baked black cherries, red plums, cedar, anise and sun-drenched earth explodes from the glass.
The palate is full-bodied and richly structured with firm, tensile tannins with a slight grip complimented by brisk acidity, concentrated fruit flavors and a complex savory undertow.
