This wine comes from 70-year-old vines planted in volcanic clay soils of Campania. This isn’t just any old place or grape—it’s the perfect marriage of both, much like it is for Chardonnay in the Côte de Beaune or Riesling in the Mosel River Valley.
Based on the structure alone, you might think this is Chablis, but the aromatics and richness of fruit point towards it’s origins. Perhaps the most incredible part about this wine, as with all of the worlds greatest wines, is its ability to pack all of this complexity into a wine that dances along your palate with incredible elegance.
