Giovanni Manzone Barolo Bricat 2016

The Manzone family farms eight hectares of vines in the area of Castelletto in Monforte d’Alba. Those holdings include a small parcel (one-third of a hectare) in Perno purchased in the course of this last year. -Monica Larner, WA (8/17).

Bricat is produced from the oldest, highest and best-exposed parcel of vines in the highly-rated Gramolere vineyard. With impressive purity, it’s a profound, structured, ageworthy Barolo. Still such a baby, but with loads of power and complexity, it’s one for the long haul. You’ll want to have this in your cellar.
