Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Italy - Energetic and intense, but approachable, this ripe fully bodied red is absolutely delicious. Notes of rich berries and plum jump out on the palate. Juicy and rich, yet finishes long and smooth. This is great on its own, but pairs beautifully with pasta.
