The Ghost Corner Semillon 2022 has a pale straw color and aromas of green fig, white fruit, nettles, lemongrass, guava, kiwi, and prickly pear. It also has a distinct minerality and a slight earthiness, with a hint of smokiness from a small amount of French oak. The palate is creamy with crisp acidity, and some say it has a waxy, terpene-like character.
This wine pairs well with strong seafood flavors, like yellowtail, scallops, or snoek, as well as lightly smoked meat and rich pork dishes.
