100% Garnacha from old, gobelet-pruned vines in granitic sand at extremely high altitude (1007 meters) in the Sierra de Gredos outside of Madrid.
Fermented and aged for 12 months in concrete tanks before bottling with minimal sulfur to emphasize the freshness and purity of the fruit. Light, almost transparent ruby colour. Nose of lingonberry and cranberry. Acidic with a palate of red cherries and strawberries.
