Gagnard-Delagrange Chassagne-Montrachet La Boudriotte 2016

Medium deep golden color; moderate wet rock chalky-plaster nose, with a ripe, lemony-pineapple core, slight reduction present but seems to be fading; bright ripe tangy citrus and tropical fruits in the mouth with slight vanilla oak present; appley notes as well--slight apple turnover; ample body, lemon curd, smooth and fairly silky tangy but sweet finish.

Very nice, approachable, riper, sort of in-your-face Chassagne without the finesse/complexity of Puligny. Should stand up to a lot of dishes, like it did tonight with pot-stickers, and perfect with goat cheese for dessert.
