Fumanelli Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2016

This is the good stuff! Gorgeous and refined "Superiore" level Valpolicella from a family that has farmed the land since the 1600's! Fumanelli has long been a grower for some of Amarone's top producers, and now arrives in the US with their own estate bottled wines. Red currants, cherries and salmon berries with aged tobacco and exotic tea aromas that beguile the senses. Glorious pair with slow cooked stews, braised meats and roast poultry.

Intense ruby red with violet reflexes, pronounced and characteristic bouquet of mature red fruits with a slightly spicy note. A wine of great structure and elegance.
