Apogee' is 100% Méthode Champenoise Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine spends one year in barrel with an additional year on its lees, non-disgorged (it's under crown cap). Beautiful 'garden fresh' aromatics, with a touch of nuttiness and a rich, yet delicate core of fruit.
It's dry, with lightly spicy, dark fruit on the pallet and a beautiful barely there pink hue in the glass. Easily one of the most unique, special, and delicious wines from California.
