The Clos de Tavannes shares with the great Cabernets on tufa Bourgueil a tannic extension as fresh as spicy. »(The Guide of the Best French Wines 2016 - RVF) It is in a fruity, cherry register that this Santenay 1er Cru is unveiled. Near the 1st Cru Morgeot Chassagne-Montrachet, it is a great complexity and a remarkable length.

Winemaking: stemming. Cold maceration in concrete tanks for ten days with pigeages and pumping over. Alcoholic fermentation of 8 days.
