Follies Touriga Nacional Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Rich, rounded and smooth, this is an exceptional value, with its black fruits, firm tannins and dense texture coming from Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon. Presents a deep ruby colour, revealing an intense aroma complemented by scents of berry, oak and vanilla. Very fresh on the mouth, this wine is seamlessly balanced by firm, supple tannins resulting in an elegant whole. This is an excellent combination of grape varieties resulting in a very personalized and appealing wine.

The Follies range of wines is named after monuments and shrines in the region of the Quinta da Aguieira. This wine, a rich blend of 70% Touriga Nacional with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon is dark, concentrated and ripe with black currant and berry fruits. Firmly tannic, it will benefit from a few more months aging, so drink from late 2018.
