Finca Sophenia Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2016

Intense violet color. In the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, with a highlighted presence of floral notes, perfectly harmonized with aromas coming from the oak aging. In the mouth it is smooth and velvety with sweet tannins.

 A finely woven firm but balanced tannin structure gives this wine a great central core and the ability to age. A combination of French and American oak barrels are used for ageing the wine, but the fruit is not muted at all, it really shines through, the oak just adds a little complexity and polish.

Silky smooth and strikingly pure, with bright acidity that really drives the wine into a long clean finish. This is an exquisite Malbec that is gorgeous now, and has the structure to age for another couple of years or more.
