Spicy in blackberry and chocolate, this is a smooth, soft and moderately complex red, made in small quantities from the well-known appellation. A hint of expected dustiness wavers amidst the fruit and oak.

It has the typical expression of the area and is instantly recognized with its distinctive Rutherford dust. Deep garnet in color with aromas of jammy blackberries and opulent dark plum while oak influences of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove round up the nose. The palate is supple, lush and voluptuous with flavors of black currant, tobacco, plum and dark chocolate, concluding with a lengthy, fruity finish.
