Garnet in color, this wine offers aromas of black cherry, sassafras, forest floor, baking spices, black tea, vanilla and sandalwood. On the palate, it shows flavors of black cherry, red plum, milk chocolate, cranberry, wild strawberry, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.
Elegant, showing suave dried berry and red fruit flavors that are flush with dried herb and forest floor accents. Rich and minerally on the finish. Oregano meets with dark pomegranate and a touch of smoke on the nose of this appellation blend. More smoke shows on the palate alongside tangy red fruit and dried herbs. It's a decent midweek option.
