The Ferraton House carries a long and beautiful history that continues from generation to generation and that began in 1946. Originally, a man, Jean Orens Ferraton, winemaker and son of winemaker. This beautiful, renowned house is located in the Rhone Valley region, a particularly sunny region. Today, Michel, his son, inherits this passion and decides to give the paternal vineyard a new dimension. The first Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph Ferraton are born. Close to the Ferraton family, Michel Chapoutierbrings his know-how. In 1998, the vineyard was converted into organic viticulture, then certified.

The vines of the vineyard are about 30 years old and are composed of 50% Marsanne and 50% Roussanne . This wine comes from two parcels: the Beaumes (calcareous and alluvial soils) and the Méal (terraces of pebbles rolled). After pressing, the must is decanted cold, then it is put in oak barrels (pieces of 228 liters and half-muids (600 liters), 30% new) to carry out its alcoholic fermentation. The malo-lactic fermentation is done in barrels as well as the breeding. The wine is aged on fine lees for a period of 10 to 12 months depending on the vintage.

This vintage is of a beautiful golden straw color . On the nose, there are aromas of ripe fruit (yellow peaches, apricots) and toasty notes . Mouth topeach aromas, cinnamon, toast, vanilla, is particularly structured, rich, complex and long .
