DESCRIPTION

Intense scents of cinnamon, cherry and plum. The palate is opulent, fruity and savoury with blackfruit flavours and a spicy touch. Refreshing hints of orange on the long lasting finish.

Bright red. Captivating perfume of raspberry, red cherry, almond paste, graphite, licorice and meat. At once dense and precise, displaying superb fruit concentration and considerable power. Finishes rich and long, with big, ripe, chewy tannins and a strawberry syrup nuance.

A host of dark red cherry, iron, plum, smoke, licorice and dark spice infuse the 2013 Chianti Rùfina Vigneto Bucerchiale. Pliant and dense, with tightly wound tannins, the 2013 is going to need at least a few years to unwind. There is plenty to look forward to for those who can wait.
