Famiglia Pasqua Amarone 2015

Deep red in colour, with a broad nose, fresh and decisive aroma of red fruits like blackberry and cherry, spicy tones reminiscent of chocolate, toast and sweet notes of vanilla. The palate is warm, balanced, with soft tannins and notes of appassimento on the finish.

Food Pairings - Excellent with grilled red meat, powerful game stews and aged, rich cheeses.To be served at 18° -20°C.

This firmly structured, velvety red opens with aromas of black currant, French oak, menthol, Asian spice and a whiff of grilled herb. The full-bodied, elegant palate doles out crushed blackberry, succulent morello cherry, licorice and tobacco alongside a backbone of taut, fine-grained tannins. 

Ripe dark-skinned berry, cedar and vanilla lead the nose. The savory, full-bodied palate offers blackberry jam, tobacco and star anise alongside firm, fine-grained tannins.
