Falesco Cabernet Tellus 2014 |
The wine has an intense red color with violet reflections, the aroma has varietal characteristics evident in balance with the sweetness of the wood. The taste is strong, soft, pleasant with a rich finish. This wine is the ideal partner for steak and filet (red meat).
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%
Sizes: 750 ml
Curiosities: the image of Tellus has always been linked to the art world. Its label is in fact born during an event held in Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome, where a group of artists reported on a canvas the impressions of fans tasters.
Expect Cabernet Sauvignon to be firmer and more tannic than Merlot. Here, the climate is moderate but elevation is also important, so flavors lean to ripe black fruits and tell-tale herbaceous notes.
Red and black fruits comingled with herbaceous elements brighten flavors of rich food, such as the obvious lamb, steak or burger. Echo the wine sensory experience of herbal notes with herb seasoned dishes that feature thyme, rosemary or basil. Vegetables with a bitter edge such as broccoli rabe, radicchio, or brussel sprouts counteract the leafy, herbal notes of Cabernet.
