It is power & elegance combined. Garnet hue. Smoky minerality on the nose mixed w/dark cherries, herbs, spices & earth. Texturally not dissimilar to a Burgundy.
This really opened up after 2 hrs developing so much complexity. Tannins are silky while the acidity gives it lift & freshness. Superb!
