This is a class act from a vineyard that borders onto the Clos des Chenes of Volnay and which exhibits many similar characteristics. It has some notes of violets on the nose against some bright, spicy raspberry fruit, which continues to the palate.
It is elegant, fresh and bright with excellent length on the palate and a full finish.
