Deep, dark red in color with layers of black fruit and spice aromas – cassis, black pepper, black cherries, nutmeg, plumbs, and cedar. The full-bodied palate gushes with ripe blackberries, currants, cherries, and espresso crema followed by warm, sweet oak, bright acidity, and those signature dusty tannins of the Rutherford appellation. True to form, this wine displays year after year the power and elegance that is so characteristic of this renowned vineyard.
