Duluc de Branaire Ducru is the second ambiation of ambition du Château Branaire Ducru. A wine that is elaborated in the terroir of Saint-Julien mainly from the young vines, and beneficiating of the estate’s modern techniques. A wine produced with the same care, very fruity and more expressif than the first label.
As the second wine of the estate, Château Duluc de Branaire-Ducru, like its elder, benefits from the many efforts that have been made since 1988 in the search for a high quality of expression and complexity: vineyard had the effect of limiting or even eliminating certain fertilizers; and the total renovation of the cellars carried out in 1992 allowed to invest in modern equipment, such as the vat, which ensures the flow of wine by gravity by avoiding any pumping to preserve the characteristics of the fruit. The Château Duluc comes from the selection of fruits from the youngest vines to the assembly. It is a supple wine, full of freshness, with notes of red and black fruits, and one finds the aromas of spices and cocoa of its younger brother. Like the latter, it has shown a beautiful regularity for ten years. It should be drunk after a few years of bottling. This wine is judged as one of the best quality-price ratio in Saint-Julien.
